The Treasure of The Seven Lakes – 3-Day, 2-Night Total Immersion
S&P Travel invites you to extend your journey with a deep immersion into the soul of Tajikistan. The historical link between the glory of Samarkand and the alpine soul of Tajikistan is woven by the ancient Silk Road, frequented by the peoples of both nations. It is within this cultural heritage that we offer you an exclusive three-day, two-night extension to the legendary Seven Lakes (Haft Kul), a sanctuary where nature and Tajik rural life unite in raw beauty.
Your escape begins at the Jarteppa border crossing. S&P Travel arranges your transfer (69 km) to the heart of the Seven Lakes valley, where you are immediately welcomed into the homestay near the fourth lake. The experience starts with an anchoring in authenticity: you have the option to participate in a masterclass in preparing fresh bread or emblematic traditional dishes like plov. Lunch is then served in a natural and traditional setting, introducing you to the rich local cuisine. The afternoon is dedicated to a peaceful village visit, allowing you to absorb the calmness of the surroundings, before concluding the day with a family dinner and a serene first night.
The next day, after a comforting breakfast, is dedicated to conquering the final jewel of the cascade. S&P Travel takes you via an ascending transfer (11 km) to the seventh lake, Hazorchashma (2400 m). At this altitude, you embark on a hike around the lake, enjoying the pure air and superb views that stretch beyond the crystalline waters. Returning to the village for a homestay lunch, the afternoon is reserved for contemplation: a walk to enjoy the wooded landscapes, magnificent views, and the natural life that flows here peacefully. You spend a second calm and peaceful night at the homestay near the fourth lake.
The third day opens with the invigorating freshness of the Tajik countryside. After breakfast, you set off on a 4-hour morning trek to strategic viewpoints, from where you will appreciate a panoramic view of the lower lakes: Soja, Guzor, Nofin, and Churdak. You then enjoy a final village visit, taking in the wooded landscapes and the river, absorbing the last moments of this natural and serene life. A final generous homestay lunch, savouring delicious traditional dishes, seals this encounter with Kuhistan. S&P Travel then arranges your return transfer to the Jarteppa border crossing, your spirit enriched by the pure beauty and hospitality of Tajikistan.
