Alexander's Forbidden Lake:
Artuch — Iskanderkul

•	Driving alongside the river through the Zarafshan Valley.
•	We visit the  enchanting mountain lake, Iskanderkul. “Iskander” is Persian for  Alexander (coined after Alexander the Great) and “Kul” in Turkic, is  “lake”. Legend has it that Alexander created the lake by damming the  river to annihilate a village which had opposed him. The region offers  an awe-inspiring panoramic view and is popular for climbing and hiking. 
•	Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
