Day 01

The Silver Wall and the Mysteries of Surkhandarya:
Samarkand — Sangardak Waterfall — Denov

• After breakfast, you will set off into the heart of the Surkhandarya mountain gorges (a 7.5-hour drive from Samarkand).
• Break for lunch along the way.
• Upon arrival, you will visit one of the treasures of the Uzbek ecosystem: the Sangardak Waterfall. It is fed by karst waters flowing through caves within the rocks and reaches a height of up to 100 meters. Numerous legends surround it, and it is said to possess miraculous powers. Located in the Saryasi district, it enjoys a continental subtropical climate near the Hissar Range. Several rivers originate in these mountains, and the region's flora and fauna are renowned for their great diversity.
