Day 01

The Alpine Heart of Fann: The Cascade Paradise:
Samarkand – Jarteppa border – Penjikent - Lake Khazorchashma

• Transfer from Samarkand to the Jarteppa border post (Uzbekistan/Tajikistan)
• We go by car to the ancient city of Penjikent (altitude 950 mt) and lunch at a local teahouse
(we try local pilaf) and then a trip towards the gorge of seven lakes (the road takes about 3 hours) upon arrival at the destination (Lake Khazorchashma, altitude 2400 mt) setting up a camp on the shore of the lake and a walk around the lake and dinner.
