Adventure and Hospitality in Ukhum (Achraf — Ukhum)

• After a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on an exciting 7-hour trekking journey through the Nurata Mountains to the neighboring village of Ukhum. This trek will not only allow you to enjoy the stunning nature, it’ll also immerse you in rural Uzbek life.
• Halfway through, you’ll take a break for a picnic amidst the mountains, surrounded by a landscape that invites reflection and admiration of nature in its purest form.
• Upon arriving in Ukhum, you’ll stay in another traditional guesthouse, where the locals will greet you with the warm Uzbek hospitality that’ll already feel familiar. In Ukhum, the locals carefully cultivate their private gardens, maintaining a homeostasis with nature, so you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing cup of fragrant green tea, oriental sweets, seasonal fruits, freshly baked Uzbek bread, and many other delicious dishes, all from their own gardens and served on a traditional table reflecting the rich culture of the region.
• The evening culminates with a dinner at the guesthouse, where you’ll enjoy typical Uzbek dishes such as lagman, made with fresh local ingredients and full of flavor, in a warm and homely setting.
